My Most Memorable (Digital) Experience

The most memorable digital experience for most people are when they got the first computer or the first phone. But today I would like to talk about one application that is excellent and very useful for me.

The application that I talk about is "Google Map". I'm sure that most of you have heard about it. It is the application that help you spend your life easier !

Now, Let's talk about the Google Map. Google Maps is a mapping mobile app developed by Google for the Android and iOS operation system ; it uses Google maps for its information. It was first released for Android on September 23, 2008, and later for iOS on December 13, 2012 as an alternative to Apple Maps, which was released with iOS6.

Google Maps for iOS has many of the features that are in their Android map application, including turn-by-turn navigation, street view, and public transit information. The application's user interface has been completely redesigned.The original version did not support the iPad, but Google planned to add iPad support. iPad support was added with version 2.0.

As of version 6.9 Google Maps offers offline access to downloaded maps of certain countries, a feature only offered in Labs of previous versions. As of 2013, 150 countries are available offline and Columbia is one country that is not available offline.

This application helps me a lot when I joined Work and Travel program at USA. I can search the location that I want to go and save it that I can use to lead to the destination with no internet. It also show the estimate time to the destination. It is very accuracy.

It help me not to get lost !

My mother and Technology

Hi ! everyone

My name is Chananya or you can call me "Gift"
Today I'm going to talk about my mother and technology.

My mother always stay at home as she is a housewife. She didn't interest in technology or electronic devices because she doesn't want to look at the screen for a long time.

However, she like to listen the music so much. She always listen the music while she is cleaning the room or cooking the dinner. I've try to teach her how to use the iPad to open the music from iTunes or even in Youtube. She said that it's very convenience to search her favorite songs but she doesn't like it !

By the way, Let's talk about her mobile phone. She uses only a normal phone which can't use the internet. Normally, she can use only call function not even take a photo or play the games. She never use any application in smartphone. Just only sometimes that she uses Dad's iPad to open the video call with me via Line application when I went to USA for Work and Travel Program.

I know that it's hard for her to learn about the technology but it isn't an important thing to be a good mom. She can do everything for me and everyone in my family. She is very kind and nice. She always take care of our family even though we didn't live together at the same home.
